Manufactured home insurance in Florida
Manufactured home insurance is a policy built for factory-built homes, covering the home, other structures, belongings and liability. Homes built after June 15, 1976 follow the federal HUD code, which underwriters treat differently from older homes. Nymble places all of them.
Homes we place
- Single, double and triple-wide manufactured homes
- Park models and modular homes
- Homes in parks, 55+ communities, on leased lots or your own land
- Homes you live in, visit seasonally or rent out
Policy forms you may hear about
Mobile home policies are often called an MH or HO-7 form. Some homes on permanent foundations can be written like site-built homes. Your agent will explain which fits.
Replacement cost or actual cash value?
Replacement cost pays to repair or replace without deducting for age; actual cash value subtracts depreciation. Older homes are often written at actual cash value.
Coverage depends on the policy, the insurance company and underwriting approval. Nothing here is a promise of coverage or price.
